This hybrid was marketed in 1932 by "Stark Bros". Its creator was an eminent man, Jackson Thornton Dawson, now unjustly forgotten. It was the first American to produce new climbers from the Multiflora Rose and the first to create new hybrids from R. Wichurana.
Apple Blossom Flowers are semi folded, pink color with its center white, and come in small groups, boasting the very undulating and ruffled petals, giving the plant a unique character. The branches are flexible, short and well covered with thorny foliage, thus being Ideal for a pergola.
