Here is a beautiful rosebush, which blooms very bent, has a beautiful color contrast between the light pink petals and bright purple interior of the outer petals.
Disposing of a musky scent, the flowers appear continuously in groups of three to seven. This rose was discovered by Humphrey Brook in his garden in Lime Kiln.
Without ever revealing the true identity of this rose, Humphrey decided to give its name, after his wife, the Countess Sophie Beckendorff, aunt, the widow of the last Tsar's ambassador in London.
